The big "Super Grover" reveal is tomorrow... hoping this builds a bit of excitement.  

Tribute to the Lawn Hawg

What a beauty. SV found it on craiglist this spring and it's run like a champ- paid for itself in only 2 months, but who knew that it would totally dominate as a leaf cruncher and collector. It left just enough mulch behind for the lawn and neatly bagged the rest. We used less than half the amount of bags than last year! Let alone the time saver- no need to skip the afternoon nap with this in the fleet!

Focus

I began a photo-a-day experiment a few months ago. It went well but has drastically fallen out of focus. Not that I necessarily forget about it- today I missed a great shot due to timing, guess that's the nature of it. So, this will have to due. Posted it here too for good measure.

Looks as though I'll need to renew the pass!

Woke up this morning, after cleaning up a "cat incident", and discovered SV connected and snooping around with Facebook.  Facebook, I've had an active page twice.  Yep, twice.  Isn't that the definition of insanity?  I didn't benefit from any different result.  I really do not need to go on.  I was easily able to find another who summed it up much better than I.  Click Here.

Best Event EVER!

Yep, that's right. The best event ever is just around the corner- VeloSwap, the shiney day at the Western Complex. Grab a cup of coffee, calipers, the list of parts and specifications in your dreams all stuffed in your backpack and wait in line for the doors to open.

You did purchase your advance ticket, right?

Enter the fray, drop your ticket stub for the subaru raffle later on, just head towards the back and begin the grazing. Haggling is expected, a buck is a buck.

Super Grover

Here's a screen capture of my next Halloween costume. The material is on it's way and my pattern is almost finished. Not quite sure how I intend to pull off the face yet though.

Autumn Leaves

Footage from the weekend hike with SV- vintage style.  A cold and rainy day was expected and delivered.  It was invigorating.  Crazy up-slope mist and fog all morning with some first of the season snowflakes, add in a few sun and blue sky moments and there you have it.  Winter is on the way.
