I’ll be looking for some random parts for the 1963 Schwinn pictured above, so hands off those parts please. Who knows what I’ll find though- there’s always room for a new bike in the fleet.
SV and I attended what we think is our new town’s biggest festival this weekend, a parade and everything! It was pretty fun- we rode our bikes to the parade in the morning and adopted a pair of ducks to float down the little creek racing for top or even middle prize (Lucky Duck No. 801684). We unfortunately were not able to watch the actual event but did attend the announcements held at the band shell. We didn’t win but I’m sure our little duck swam real hard. ANYWAY, the parade was okay. A few marching bands and politicians, however the parade seemed to have a bit of a theme. Disney! Disney really needs more exposure and celebration? It did not resonate with me well- you may have noticed I have a little problem with some things in my world.
It’s been a long time. Whew. Offer on our old home. Old home. We are in new home. Getting settled, arranging this and that, adjusting to the next chapter and all that it implies. What a ride though! Crazy former owner dealings, left behind baggage that involved calling the police and thankful neighbors at our arrival. SV and I performed a nice sage burning blessing on a fine evening night. Our new home. We have grapes!
