Been a long time....

So long in fact, predictably it's hard to begin. So I won't just yet. In the meantime, enjoy this "Cyclisk", a wonderful monolith in Santa Rosa, Ca from what I understand. Perhaps, I will see it someday or maybe not. Anyway, looking forward to some increased saddle time, perhaps making a few more turns, finishing the basement and creating an oversized sandbox in the spring for some super-dooper Calvin QT!

Ahh, Satire

Beyond the ring of scorched earth from last night’s landing, he could see that this new world was soft and green. He immediately prepared for lift-off.

Little commuting excuses now except 15 degree mornings, 18 miles and 900 vertical feet of climbing roundtrip. Check out the Flickr photostream for more...

Race Season

Inaugural Pb24. 24 hour race in Leadville, Co. in September.
Yep, base elevation around 10,000 feet.
Entered this seasons race schedule into the family calendar and practically filled it up, looks like my races will be training again this year, unless I take the bike commute seriously!

Just bring your Shoes n Pedals

A little California Christmas ride right out of Ojai (Meiners Oaks, really). Really only the second time I've rented a bike and sampled the local dirt. The bike wasn't great (another story) and the Ventura Nature Preserve has potential.
I may have to rent a road bike next time for a loop to the coast. Either way, I'm sold. You should always bring your shoes and pedals.
