Let the hunt begin! SV and I found our first geocache w/ the GPS today. Very fun even in a little blizzard. Luckily the cache was pretty easy to find and didn’t require a snow shovel. Of course being the newbies, we forgot a pen to sign the log book and a trinket to exchange. So, it was TNLN protocol.
The holiday season sure is time consuming. It’s been a few months since my last post, tisk, tisk. Much has happened with the fleet since Veloswap. Schwinn parts for the build in-progress, parts, more parts and general ogling at full suspension rigs. Ah, to be back in the double squishy saddle. So, one day I was out on a ride on the hardtail at Apex, just daydreaming about a new ride. Lo and behold, on my way home I stopped by my local bike shop for the first time. An hour later I have a Trance on layaway.
Flash to late December and I’m gearing up for a little scoot on the Trance. Checking for satellite hook-up on the new GPS and away I went. Fun, Fun.
