Inconsiderate, obnoxious and a high carbon footprint. The leaf blower and those who use them (for the most part). We love our neighborhood, filled with children, families and retired folk who take pride in their homes and keep them tidy. I was raking the lawn, yes with a rake, into little piles, using manual labor and I watched as the next door neighbor across the street fire up her blower and begin to blow them right into the street! It was a fine, sunny fall day, quiet in the neighborhood with a bit of a breeze, not enough to interfere with raking but enough to scoot leaves on pavement down the street and right into my @#!7ing yard! I stood there just starring at her, I do believe she could feel the glare on her skin. I hope anyway. Now this neighbor is a senior, so I’ll cut her a little slack, even though she could loosen up her purse and pay the teenagers across the street for a little help, there are a few more knuckle-heads further down that do the same thing! And these are able body dudes that could use a little exercise. I’m about ready to log an entry on rottenneighbor.com for these offenses. Don’t even get me started on how machines of this type are contributing to an obese citizenry and driving up health care cost for everyone let alone adding to the exponential rate of carbon dioxide gas being bottled up by our atmosphere!
